Pessoptimistic

We are only teenagers once. We long for the life we have when we were children. When we were the carefree selves that are safely held by our parents with love and care. When they would take us out to playgrounds and play childish games with us. When they would read us bedtime stories and kiss us goodnight. When none of what we do are so significant that we might as well just lie on the floor all day. Admit it, we do. Teenage life. We hate studying, we hate parents rule, we hate society, we hate homework, we hate almost everything we can think of a reason to hate. But. We are only teenagers once. We can only BE teenagers once. Will we remember all this suffering and studying 4 years from now? 7 years from now? What about 10 years? When we look back, what do we want to see. What did I do from 13~18.

We await the end of the tunnel, for the light to shine in on us and for us to walk our staircase to a new life. Or so we think, college. Then after another 4 years of hard work, or 7 years for some people. We are determined and we are confident that we are to enjoy the rest of our life. Or do we. We work hard, from mailroom boys to office workers to finally we are at the top of the pyramid, CEO of a company or a respected judge or the President of the United States. We then sit back and relax. We studied for 24 years, some even longer for masters degrees. Then we work our ass off to please our bosses, get a loving wife, raise adorable children, tame unruly teenagers, and fight our biological clock of aging while we were studying and working for our comfortable future. Finally. You look back, you spent 65 years to build up your golden empire and now you have a weaker and more feeble body to enjoy what you used your youth to trade for. I hope I like what I will see. It's like riding a roller coaster. There are ups and downs but the thing is to enjoy every part and in the end, wish that you would take the same ride again. Work hard, Play hard. Why not Plork hard.
